ADMINISTRATIVE
ASSISTANT I






Pay Range
Minimum: $11.02 Hr.
 
RECREATION  H.S. /GED. Valid FL Driver’s License Two (2) years’ work experience involving clerical duties utilizing a personal computer. Requires fluency in Spanish. Work includes accepting participant registrations and payments and direct public interaction through telephone calls, e-mails and walk-up customers. Processes recreation program registrations, receives payments, updates database, tracks any special customer issues. Keyboard skills at 40 wpm level preferred.
CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK I

 

Pay Range
Minimum: $10.22 Hr.

UTILITY
BILLING

 H.S. /GED.  1 yr. general office experience including cashier.  Knowledge of business math, bookkeeping and handling money. Skills and experience with a computer and other office equipment.  Must have proven excellent interpersonal skills.  Must be able to work independently and type 30 wpm.
FOREMAN I
(LANDSCAPE CREW) 


Pay Range
Minimum: $13.89 Hr

PARKS H.S. /GED. Valid FL Driver’s License. 2 yrs. proven experience in maintaining Athletic Fields, including turf irrigation, landscaping, field preparation, sodding, chemical distribution and other pertinent grounds keeping and maintenance skills pertaining to parks and stadiums.
MAINTENANCE MECHANIC III









Pay Range
Minimum: $13.891Hr

 UTILITY
MAINTENANCE

 H.S./GED.  Requires 5 years of electrical and mechanical trouble shooting and repairs. Functions as a crew leader in the maintenance and repair of lift stations, wells and the wastewater treatment plant projects. Ability and knowledge to work safely around high voltage up to 480v. Must have knowledge and a good understanding of mechanical and electrical tools, machinery, and electrical systems. Ability to read blue prints and ladder logic diagrams. Must qualify for after hour on call duty and be prepared to respond if needed to handle utility related issues.

POLICE



Pay Range Minimum:$19.65Hr.                

POLICE

H.S./GED. Valid Florida Driver License. FL Certified or presently enrolled in and will complete standard police academy within 30 days. Minimum 19 years of age, U.S. citizen, and good moral character as set forth by the State Commission.

REFUSE COLLECTOR II




 


Pay Range
Minimum: $11.02 Hr.

SANITATION
 

H.S. /GED.   1 year experience as a refuse collector and refuse equipment operation.  Knowledge of downtown route sites and special events services.     Performs loading, sweeping, digging and other manual laboring tasks. Physical strength, stamina and ability to perform lifting, loading, bending, and other manual work. Must obtain a CDL within 1 year of employment. Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Works in various weather conditions.
